I am a violinmaker, specialised in double basses. Trained in the UK and working in Småland, Sweden. 

THE SHOP

In the shop you will find old and new double-basses. We stock over 40 instruments a selection of these you will find on this web site. Although we highly recommend to try out a bass before you buy, it is possible to order a bass through email ordering. If you want to visit the shop, please make an appointment (see contact details).

THE WORKSHOP

Next to selling instruments, we have a workshop for all kinds of repair works. For instance:

• glue open seems and cracks
• full restorations
• solving sound and set up problems
• extensions
• replace parts (bridge, soundpost, machine heads etc.)
• fit adjusters in a bridge
• fit an extension
• etc.

If you need more information about your double bass or bow, we can provide a valuation or certificate.

INTERVIEW SJÖBERGS

Sjöbergs is a Swedish company that produces fantastic work benches and goes back a hundred years. I am proud to have two of those work benches in my workshop. For their anniversary they visited my workshop and interviewed me.
